Nancy Lenhart, Founder and Executive Director

Nancy Lenhart, Founder & Executive Director Emeritus, is a nationally-recognized leader in fitness and weight loss.

Nancy’s goal for every camper is to lose weight safely, have FUN, build self-esteem, make long-lasting friendships and continue living a healthy lifestyle long after camp ends.

The American Camping Association (ACA) has recognized Nancy for her continuous professional achievement in the camp field. She has successfully met the strict criteria and obtained certification as an ACA Certified Camp Director. Nancy has also served as an Accreditation Visitor for the American Camp Association, visiting and accrediting other summer camps. She is a member of the Adolescence Obesity Center, the California Parenting Institute and is a former Executive Board Member of Sonoma County Child Assault Program. Her fields of expertise include crisis intervention, motivational speaking, behavior modification instruction and volunteer work.

Nancy enjoys her family life and being a parent to her daughter Nicole. She and Nicole enjoy playing tennis, mountain biking, walking, skiing, and other activities.

As a mother, Nancy truly understands how much you love your child and how very important your child’s happiness, health, safety, and success means to you! This is Nancy’s 40th summer at camp, and she can’t wait to see you at the beach.
